Quality management system
In order to be certified according to ISO 9001:2008, organisations must choose the scope to be certified, the processes or areas to be involved in the project, select a register, undergo the audit and, after successful completion, undergo an annual inspection to maintain certification.
To verify the requirements of the standard are met, certification bodies audit the implementation and application and issue a certificate of conformity. These bodies are supervised by national authorities that regulate their activity.
To obtain quality products and services, we must ensure they meet the required standards from the moment they are designed. A quality product or service is one that satisfies the needs of the customer, therefore in order to develop and launch a quality product it is necessary to:
- Know the needs of the customer.
- Design a product or service that covers these needs.
- Create the product or service in accordance with the design.
- Deliver the product or service in the minimum time and lowest cost possible.
